RV Description

Updated, hard to find 40' 3 slide, 3 axle toy hauler! We're also selling the 1999 F450 seen in the pics that tows it, see our other ad.
NOTE: as of today, 7/16, the outside pics show the as-is condition - we've been sanding the outside to get it painted but it's not painted yet.

The Crossroads Crossterrain has a good reputation, especially of this era, for well built and reliable 5th wheels. This is their biggest model, and it's roomy enough to live in! The two main area slides go out to basically double the living area, the bedroom slide makes for a roomier walk around, and the toy hauler section in the back fits so much! There's technically 2 beds - the master bedroom has a queen box, and the living area has a ladder up to a queen loft, with storage cabinets. We were able to fit 2 full bunk beds in the toy hauler area, which with the baby with us, gave us 9 sleeping capacity! It's got good sized water tanks too.

The Crossterrain, as a toy hauler, comes with some fun extras like a gas tank for your toys (we never used it), a vacuum system, and an outdoor shower. There's 2 big propane tanks, and an Onan generator. This RV was converted to a 30 amp wiring and set up with the electrical to convert to solar power. No solar panels included.

Upgrades: The microwave, kitchen sink and faucet are all brand new. The flooring has all recently been updated to bamboo, strand woven, which is 100% harder than oak but still light in weight. The walls have all been painted. The cabinets and wood panels have been gel-stained (except the doors) to provide a nice contrasting look. The bathroom sink is a copper one. There's a removable platform in the master closet to improve storage. The AC has been repaired. We upgraded some trim to real wood.

Missing/damaged: A few screens need to be fixed. There's a vent in the toy hauler area that the plastic broke. The generator stops sometimes, we just never got around to fixing it since we never used it, we suspect it's just that the fuel lines needs to be cleaned out. There's some water damage on the board under the kitchen sink. The decals have faded in the sun. The front stabilizer plates are a bit bent, but work fine. The canopy works fine but sometimes needs "cajoling" to get it in properly once it's out, it's a bit sticky. Depending on how level you have it, and how much weight you've put on the left slide, it can need some help coming back in.
