Note - I spent entirely too many hours creating a fully customized set of insulation panels for every window. All windows have both an interior and exterior insulation panel that are easily installed/removed. Interior panels are cut from a 1” thick insulation board with reflective backing and are sufficient for even the most extreme environments. For storage (or for the most extreme of heat i.e. Arizona summers), the exterior panel of Reflectix bubble wrap can also be secured to the outside blocking all sunlight from hitting/heating the windows altogether. All interior and exterior insulators are easily secured and removed via velcro and neatly stored out of sight.
