Book that campsite, take that vacation!This amazing little TearDrop camper can go OFF-GRID (aka Boondock) for weeks at a time, yes, really! Find your nearest beach, river or mountain, and enjoy the summer. You can park this beauty ANYWHERE – seriously, at 16’ long (body) plus 3’ for the hitch, she fits into basically ALL campsites as well as partial or full-hook-up sites. With a dry weight of just 2,867 lbs, she’s considered an ultra-light and be towed by just about anything! This is the Hood River Edition Model 178 (with raised suspension, 15” off-road tires), and we JUST had maintenance done in May, 2021 at Camping World. Clean full title, all paperwork and records of course included. UPGRADES we have done:

• The AC unit has been upgraded with a Soft Start unit. This unit will allow the AC to be started AND RUN with a smaller Honda 2000 generator (or similar)
• Dual Battery- type 24 batteries, deep-cycle. Similar to a car battery, they run in parallel and extend the life off- grid to more than a week
• 110W Solar Panel and Charge Controller
• Pahaque Side Tent (uses keder rail tracks to slide onto side of camper) = a full 9 feet wide and 12 feet long, with screened windows and doors. This custom made tent is BRAND NEW and is over $800 alone
• Bathroom upgraded with new showerhead, sink removed for convenience and space, and waterproof wall coverings
• Overhead wire shelving racks in the bedroom and dining area for storage
• 4 inch memory foam topper for RV queen bed

FEATURES about the R-Pod that really sets it apart from any other mini or micro travel trailer:

• The R-Pod also features aluminum framing around every RV opening which gives this travel trailer the best structural integrity in its class. It also features automotive window seals which are both watertight and weatherproof, advertised as “zero maintenance.”
