This well-designed 1985 has a gross dry weight of 4045lbs and cargo carrying capacity of 1655lbs for a total gross vehicle weight of 5700lbs. The fresh, gray, and black water tanks each has a capacity of 45 gallons. It measures 23’3” long, 10’2” tall, and just under 97” wide. Just behind the hitch is a 3-tank locking propane area. Trailer has solar panel, power tongue jack, and power stab jacks.

Dual, locking battery cabinets allow for two batteries or one, located on your preferred side. Passthrough storage at the front has a pull-out bin, making it easy to access items. The exterior is aluminum-framed and laminated fiberglass sidewalls, floor, and ceiling. The 16’ power awning slides out at the touch of a button. It also has a built-in wind sensor and will roll itself away if things start to get a little shaky.

The cabinetry is made of wood ply, a durable, lightweight wood composite with a clean look. In the kitchen, the countertop space is maximized with the sink and cooktop covers, as well as fold-up countertop extension. The counter is a generous size and the high rise faucet with pull-out sprayer makes clean-up simpler. A stainless steel appliance suite includes a six-cubic-foot refrigerator/freezer, a three-burner cooktop, convection microwave, and vent hood with light.

The U-shaped dinette can seat a crowd and converts into a bed for 2. Windows on all three sides of the dinette let in lots of natural light and allow for a nice cross breeze. Roll-out storage drawers under the benches give you somewhere to stash kitchen and table linens, etc.

The entertainment area is positioned so it can be viewed from any seat. Components include a 32” LED television, AM/FM/DVD stereo with Bluetooth compatible interior and exterior speakers.

In the bathroom, which is the full width of the trailer, there is a porcelain foot-pedal toilet, shower with rounded soft door enclosure and a dual pane skylight, stonecast sink, and mirrored medicine cabinet. In addition to the under-sink storage and cabinet, there’s also a good-sized wardrobe with hanging rod and three drawers.

The bedroom area has a privacy curtain, and queen-size spring mattress with pillowtop. Nightstands on each side of the bed have a drawer and wardrobe cabinet.

The Lance 1985 is a four-season trailer. The ceiling hatch covers over the skylight and fan help keep the heat in during the colder months, and the fans and air conditioner cool you down when it’s warm.
