• From Louisville, KY: Take I-65 north to Indiana Hwy 46 at Columbus, exit right. Follow Hwy 46 east about 47 miles to Indian Lakes on the right.
• From Indianapolis, IN: Take I-74 east to Exit 156 (Sunman/Milan). Turn right at exit to Hwy 46. Turn right on Hwy 46. The preserve is approximately 2 miles on the left, past the golf course.
• From Cincinnati, OH: Take I-74 west across the Ohio/Indiana state line to Exit 156 (Sunman/Milan). Turn left at exit to Hwy 46
Turn right onto Hwy 46. The preserve is approximately 2 miles on the left, past the golf course.
Additional Features: Just outside the exciting cities of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Indianapolis, Indiana, a quiet piece of country awaits you ... the Indian Lakes preserve. Campers will enjoy special activities offered throughout the year for children and adults alike. This preserve is located on 544 acres at 400 feet above sea level. Winter temperatures average between 20 and 45 degrees. 
Summer temperatures average between 75 and 90 degrees.

• From Cincinnati: From I-71 Northeast, take Hwy 73 (Exit 45). Turn right and travel on Hwy 73 for about 500 feet to Hwy 380. Turn right on Hwy 380, and travel south for about 1.5 miles. The preserve is on the left.
• From Dayton: Travel south on I-75 to Hwy 73. Follow Hwy 73 southeast for about 20 miles to Hwy 380. Turn right on Hwy 380, and travel south for about 1.5 miles. The preserve is on the left.
• Alternative directions from Wilmington: Take Route 22-3 west for about 6 miles to Route 380. Turn north (right) and drive about 1 mile to the preserve on the right.
Additional Features: This preserve offers 170 acres of gently rolling land that surrounds a lake, 
offering good fishing and calm waters for canoeing (boats available). Eight miles away, the state parks of Cowan Lake and Caesar Creek offer fishing, boating, swimming and horseback riding. Local attractions include King's Island Amusement Park and the Clinton County Historical Society's Museum in Wilmington.
